Case Details

Suit Reason :

Plaintiff, a 75 year-old female, severely injured her wrist in a vehicular crash.

Award Reason :

Plaintiff's hand was permanently misshaped as a result of the wrist injury. Plaintiff also underwent four surgical procedures. She claimed she was unable to perform daily tasks and that her husband had to perform most of the household chores, though there was evidence of record that she had told her therapist she could do these things. Her carpal tunnel syndrome was determined to not be a result of the accident.
